A Tip For Uncle Dave On Dry Mouth (He Obviously Has Trouble With The AC)

So....the blower rants. I can understand what the deal is. Air conditioners dry air out, and can cause scratchy throat, dry mouth, etc. which can make it difficult to sing.

    So....first tip is this:

Chew gum. I have seen vids of Rob Halford chewing gum onstage. Yeah, it looks stupid, but that is minor compared to keeping your mouth salivated. Gum does that.

    Just a thought.

Secondly, and this tip is for emergencies. All you reading this can try this. Bite the tip of your tongue.
Not hard, but constant pressure for a few seconds as hard as you can stand it.

It will automatically cause your salivary glands to go nuts, and you can say goodbye to cottonmouth.

This public service announcement has been brought to you by General Mills, makes of Cheerios cereal and other fine stoner munchies.....

AC can also cause major sinus problems. My sinuses were so bad after sleeping with AC every night in Mexico, I couldn't even talk...

I think if Dave stops blazing up a big fatty with the cats from Kool & Gang before his set ---- he would cure the dry mouth lickety-split

That's not what's wrong with him. You know how you sound after attending a Van Halen concert? That's what's happening to Dave by the end of a show. Nothing more. I think he is getting stronger though.
