Another one of those classic genius posts, sure to generate responses. You log on the next day to see what your witty gem has produced to find no one gets it and 2 knotheads want to stick their dicks in it... Well played, sir!!

        Swan song.

I said that before too. I don't wanna say goodbye. Shit, we are just getting to know them again. Or perhaps they are just acting like it's a last hurrah just because life is unpredictable and they wanna give us their all while they can. If able in the future they'll continue. if not, they lived this tour like it was their last.

        Let's hope.

We already know the final date of Dave's tour gigs: October 10th, 2021 so no worries, it is at 4:10:

I don't think the band has a predetermined end date at all. They're not organized enough to predetermine anything

They don't need to get their name out everywhere like the old days to promote album or ticket sales. Their Van Halen......their legends.....they don't wanna be bothered with that shit anymore....don't need to do it. Dave was still doing the interview circuit right up untill he re-joined the band cuz let's face it, he needed to. I think the guy is the greatest front man of all time....I'm sure 99% of us here do as well.....but he was falling into mainstream obscurity before re-joining the band. These guys wanna chill out, be with friends and family on their down time and live their lives. Fans need to get over the fact that Famous musicians, sports figures, actors etc......they only care about their fans to a certain extent. They don't care about us the way we care about them.....and there's nothing wrong with that. These dudes arent 20 yrs old and hungry for success....figuratively and literally. So what if they don't do any interviews.....what the hell else is there to know that most of us here don't already know? All I need is for them to make kick ass albums, and put on kick ass live shows, and maybe open the vault....and I'm cool. If they make some time to rehearse the shit out of some different tunes for the next leg, and Uncle Dave takes the time to re-learn the lyrics, that's cool too. The days of Hit parader and Circus magazine are long gone for most of us VH fans.....we aint spring chickens anymore either......and why the hell would I wanna see some tool like Pierce Morgan interviewing anyone from Van Halen anyway?
If VH is OK with less than 10,000 concert goers and less than expected album sales, sure why bother. It's not about us, the diehard fans, it's about trying to expand their fan base.

There's no reason ADKOT shouldn't be heard by a much larger audience. Piers Morgan isn't a tool, by the way and he'd stop Dave from talking in riddles wrapped in enigma's

Dave was always fascinating in his interviews, I believe it's just sheer laziness on their part. Perhaps when you're worth $40-$85 mill each, why bother indeed!

Despite his hype Piers Morgan has less viewers than this forum.

The only way I would want Roth on there is if he kicked his fucking face in and then ate it while Morgan begged for mercy.

what about ' a star in a reasonably priced car'?

                              that'd be cool.

i thought about that, too. but Ed seems like he was more of a car guy than Dave, with the Lambos or whatever he had. Dave would definitely be a better interview.
