Not the fighting but what it felt like when Jump went to #1 and how they felt about MTV's emergence and their increased popularity. Maybe that era is a bit touchy for these guys, but would like to hear them chat about the good parts of it.

Im sure that because Eddie feels like a drummer first, it comes out in his guitar playing no matter the style of music or electric or acoustic. Very percussive. Thinking about it, there's three drummers in that band.

When it comes to old-school Van Halen PR ---- there is no team ---- it's just Dave doing what he does best.

Besides, if Eddie was in that video he woulda fucked it up somehow ---- give it the kiss of death by saying "you'll hear from us real soon, OK?" ---- which basically means the tour is DONE permanently.

To me, at least - the greatest unspoken thing about THAT is in the event there IS going to be another CD, if the label even DARES suggest bringing in Desmond "the cheesemaster" Child or some other cookie-cuter hack songwriter in ala Aerosmith, etc., the band will tell them in no uncertain terms to FACK ORFF.

Dave's saying how he remembers going with his acoustic guitar to some club on Sunday night at 10:00 and never making it past the audition...
