Thank you. I am just really annoyed when you give of yourself and it ends up being used against you, especially in an argument where it's totally irrelevant. I should just take a random avatar, and see if he'll have something relevant argument then. But probably not, since he'd use it in the first place instead of commenting on what other users look like. The heart is on the left. The blood is red.Comment

Yeah, and there's even the fact that I actually couldn't care less what you look like. Never mind...The heart is on the left. The blood is red.Comment

Ugh...I avoided facebook all these years & just now made one to help out Snipers band. Not about to post any real pics of myself there. All those people I haven't talked to in so many years, there's a reason for that. If they were all that great to begin with we would have never lost touch in the first place. Dig? Only self pic I can think of that I have put online is when I dressed as Dave in the EEAS jungle costume. And that was just for here.
Yeah, fuck facebook. Not for me. (and neither was hair gel)Comment

Which is probably alot worse for you because you see 3 of everything.....Comment

I don't recall anyone giving a damn what you look like either....that's just something you chose to do in your desperate plea for attention. Then when you get attention you start getting all pissy.

I think the notion that Wolf is the reason Dave is in the band has been overplayed...and not one member of VH has said that Wolf is the reason Dave is in the band. Wolfie may be the "energy" within the band right now (and his bass contributions have been quite good), but the courtship of DLR and Ed started in 2000. Dave even referred Ed to a cancer surgeon uncle of his and contributed to Ed kicking that first round of cancer. Even though those 2000/2001 sessions were aborted, they produced some quality music (according to Dave). The problem hasn't been Ed and Dave, I believe the problem in those years was Dave and Al. I believe that it was Al who pushed for the 2004 Hagar reunion and he is the one who said in 04 that Dave would never be back in VH. Al doesn't get enough crap, along with Hagar, for pushing a clearly unhealthy and drug/alcohol incapacitated Ed to go on tour.
Financial considerations with Al (who's marital history has drained his bank accounts). A young son who loves CVH. The repaired relationship between Ed and Dave and the firing of Michael Anthony all led us to where we are now. For all intents and purposes Ed and Dave are getting along great (and lets face it, that's the only relationship that matters in VH), and are the creative forces behind VH. Wolf most likely contributes what he can...but when your dad is EVH you don't have much room to make suggestions. Wolf inspired Ed to get sober, and to make music again...but...
Wolf will one day be a great leader of his own band...maybe after VH calls it a day, but what Van Halen is today wasn't created in some vacuum. It seems that Dave and Ed have worked on their relationship and THAT my friends is why we have Van Halen today. No other reason why.Comment

Hmm...I played the hell out of Pornograffiti and then lost interest after III Sides To Every Story. so you're saying Punchline is better than Pornograffiti? Somehow I doubt that. But if you are serious I'm gonna have to give it a spin for sure.“Great losses often bring only a numb shock. To truly plunge a victim into misery, you must overwhelm him with many small sufferings.”Comment

HAHA! that's funny too! Some great lines in this thread are cracking me up. Everyone seems to be getting restless knowing the last show of this leg is approaching with bullet train speed.“Great losses often bring only a numb shock. To truly plunge a victim into misery, you must overwhelm him with many small sufferings.”Comment
