That was the first tour I saw VH as well. I wore my 1980 Invasion tour shirt until it literally fell apart.
No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!

This day in Van Halen History they played the infamous Texxas Jam 1 at the Cotton Bowl Dallas Texas. July 1 1978 they took the stage at approx 1100 AM. They were a non headliner and played early in the morning but stole the whole show. This is where Texas fell in love with Van Halen. I was at the 78,79,80, 86 Cotton Bowl Jams. They did not play in 80. Saw them again at Midland Chaparral Center Midland Texas in 79, at this show stage barricade collapsed and caught my arm, almost got killed by the crowd pushing. I got the memories and a nice scar on my hand and wrist to remember the Midland show by. Here is my Cherished Concert memorabilia hanging in my home office at Texxas Jam 1. Far right is me and my buds. I bought the pic from Vernon Gowdy concert Photographer. He blew it up to Poster size for me. I just saw them again in 22 June here at AT&T. Dave's voice is shot, but still loved the show. Had a great time every-time (5) times.
