      The thing about that event the Black Keys headlined...no one would have cared if any other of the top 10 bands "headlined"...no one of those bands is drawing anyone to an event like that than would have gone.

      Van Halen was the undisputed headline act of the US Festival. Certainly the Heavy Metal Day and arguably of the entire event given how many more showed up to the 3rd day versus the other two.

          Oh. I remember listening to the rock station in San Diego about a dozen years ago & them saying that 1 song was the most played song over the previous decade at the station. More than VH, Led Zep, the Who, AC/DC, any of them. Thought that was odd. I guess a lot of people like that song. or it's just a good perfect filler length.
