@VA Beach VH Fan we need to do a weekly VH show for us fans to comment on like the US Fest , Oakland show and any other that comes to mind........there is alot of folks that would enjoy a night at VH!!! I mean we have many friends like Vain, Momshell,donnieP etal..... that would bring insight from these shows......

I watched the whole interview and I have to say it, I got a feeling Dave was flirting with him. There were some moments where Dave was looking at him as if he wanted to eat him up (not cannibal style). Not from the beginning, towards the end. Wasn't there more footage after or before this interview where they were just talking?

Is this the 'Dave is gay' rumours again?
Dave did have a girlfriend of sorts around then - not sure how serious it was - and she was in the backstage movie thing that they shot before the Us Fest performance, Sonia Braga. She was in that movie, Kiss of the Spider Woman, which won an Oscar around about then, and she was still being photographed with him a couple of years later - I think this is early '85.
And, I remember reading in a biography of Prince, that the small purple dude forced Apollonia (of Apollonia 6 [talent, 0]) to break up with Dave - this would be early 80s - and concentrate on her musical career.

Nice outfit. As cool and badass as Dave is. He got way to full of himself in the mid 80's. I agree with Eddie on that one. He was way cooler in the early 80's. He seems to have come back down to earth in the last 10 years for the most part. A copy of the US Fest. is a must for any Roth VH fan. Sloppy but classic !
