Alex Van Halen worth $75 milion, #13 on the list of 30...

The estimated wealth of each musician on the list is based on salaries, real estate holdings, divorces, record sales, royalties and endorsements, while taking out taxes and various fees, as well as lifestyle choices.
Although Grohl has been the frontman for Foo Fighters for nearly two decades, he told us a while back that he still enjoys drumming the most: "I feel most comfortable behind the drums. I mean, being the lead singer of a band I actually feel kind of uncomfortable. I like doing it, and the challenge and the fear is one of the things that I like about it. But playing the drums, it's like I just feel totally comfortable doing it. I don't really worry that, you know, I'm not gonna be able to do what I'm supposed to do."
Other iconic drummers featured on the list include Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers with a cool $90 million in the bank, Black Sabbath's estranged Bill Ward with $65 million, Tre Cool of Green Day with $45 million and Tool's Danny Carey with $40 million.
The Top 30 richest drummers in the world are:
    1. Ringo Starr - $300 Million (The Beatles)
    2. Phil Collins - $250 Million (solo, Genesis)
    3. Dave Grohl - $225 Million (Nirvana, Foo Fighters)
    4. Don Henley - $200 Million (The Eagles)

I'm calling BS on some of these numbers.

No way in hell Dave Grohl has more money than Lars Ulrich and Larry Mullen, Jr. Metallica & U2 have had gigantic record-breaking world tours for the past 20 years --- show me even one Foo Fighters tour that comes close. Both Metallica and U2 make a shitload off merchandising, too. Lars & Mullen have to be easily worth north of $300 million, but maybe they have a lot of it stashed in offshore bank accounts so thats why it wasnt easy to track down. Plus, that filthy whore Courtney Love owned the majority of Nirvana's publishing rights so Grohl gets fucked on that end.

I'm suprised Alex has that much cash --- didn't his multiple divorces clean him out pretty good?

There's no way Al's worth 75M. Didn't a buddy of Lou's confirm the 2004 tour was nothing more than a cash grab for Al?

It's quoted all over the internet I find it really hard to believe that Steven Adler is worth $15 million.

He may have got a great legal settlement on Appetite but with no writing royalties and 20 years as a junkie surely he can't possibly be worth $15 million, sounds more like his career earnings.

Spamborita claims Al was broke in 1996 after his divorce from 2nd wife Kelly.

Impossible to believe he's made $75 million since then from dwindling album royalties and only 4 tours (2 were marginally profitable).

Yeah, how can cokehead Adler have more money than Mick Fleetwood?

I'm sure Mick gets plenty of royalties from Fleetwood Mac albums and some of their big tours in recent years --- plus he owns a wine company and auction house.

Are these the same dickwads who made the infamous RS "Greatest Guitarists of All Time" pile of garbage?

                          Fiction can be fun.
