I think most of these lists/websites are just simple addition. They dont take into account anything like (stated earlier) divorce, good/bad investments or simply wasting a ton of cash on a lavish lifestyle. One would have to multiply/divide the amounts ten fold in many cases to account for the variables.

I keep saying to myself, 'Neil Pye' to try and figure out if there is a hidden joke, or some other allusion in that name ... I say it slowly, I say it quickly, but still it seems to be plain old Neil Pye.

Unless, of course, they meant ... Kneel (for) 'Pie'. British slang being what it is / was, who knows!

I was telling him there was kind of a follow up called bottom that was just all the violent slapstick bits but they never got it over in the states.

I had forgotten all about Bottom - totally effin mad, Rick Mayall and Ade Edmonson, two bachelors bashing lumps out of each other as they while away their lives in a grotty flat.

Kids these days dunno what they are missing.

God that was a funny show! I haven't seen Bottom but if it's as funny as The Young Ones then I have to check it out.

They did other stuff back then that Vandeleur will know - the Enid Blyton things. They also featured the lesser-known, but mad Peter Richardson, who played the drummer in Bad News.

That's him to the far left in this pic

                                Bottom was utterly fucking brilliant.

I remember being 13-14 and crying with laughter to the point where I couldn't breathe......
