You go ahead and like whatever you want...whenever you want. Never thought a dude would have Paul Stanley as an avatar anyway.

I bought Ann and Nancy's bio today. Am up to about 1965 right now. They had a quite interesting upbringing....military brats who lived in Taiwan and many, many places around the US...before they were teenagers.

Beatles were what inspired them...the Ed Sullivan performances....they said that while all their girlfriends fantasized about being the wives or girlfriends of the Beatles, Ann and Nancy wanted to play guitar like them.

Though when I was 5, and knew nothing about "girls", I saw "Help" and "A Hard Days Night", and I did recognize the value of having girls freak out and want to kiss you...

Definitely had my mind right about that!

They aren't even fun drunks to watch. Most rock stars are incredibly funny on stage when hammered (usually). We have so many epic moments in the bast that are shining examples. Dave at the US Fest has gotta be #1. But whenever Eddie was hammered he was a shitty evil goblin. I just keep thinking those porn music videos he made. I swear he looked like he should be on an airplane wing during a storm smashing up the engines.

Just imagine having to deal with both Ed and Al every damn night - drunk, fighting, high as hell. Fuck that. The drunk and high part I'd be all for. But the fighting and the crybaby "my life sucks, I'm miserable, I hate you, I love you, I'm shaving my head" bullshit would get old real fast. Some people just don't know how to have a good time no matter what.

I'm amazed Dave put up with those 2 pricks for as long as he did.

I'm sure the truckloads of cash and hot groupie ass made it more tolerable, but still ---- Dave deserves a medal for working with world class crybaby dickheads like those two.

Ed and Al always knew that people only liked them because of their musical talent. If they didn't have that, they'd be annoying shit sticks that people despise and avoid.

Dave is somebody who's just fun to be around regardless if he ever became a rock star. He sold smiles for a living --- and he'd be doing that to this day if he never met the Van Weirdo Sisters.

Those kind of drunks, you just have to know how to deal with. If they are provoking a fight, just don't be afraid, resistance, hard against hard. When they see you the rage in your eyes, they usually back off... But then it's too late :D

Haha, no it's not that bad. But if I am picked on for a long time I build up agression and rage and I can actually beat a guy up, just from the strenght that the rage gives me. Oh and growing up with a lot older brother. I am quiet a fighter, actually. You'd be suprised.

If so, is it any good?

I totally agree. Dave is so fantastic, what the hell is he doing with those two???
It's like when a friend gets a boyfriend, and you just think "wtf is she doing with him?? She can do so much better"

most of us here agree. Which is why we clearly took Daves side the last quarter century
