Seriously, John5 is a monster guitarist. Aside from playing on Dave's album and being in Marilyn Manson for a bit, he was in kd lang's band back in the 90s, then of course was in Halford's ill-fated 2wo project.....and he does a ton of session work also. He is really a talented player.

From 1978-1984, Van Halen was high-energy molten atomic party rock! Loud and heavy, but NOT METAL.
After Spak became the lead pussy, it became even LESS heavy than it ever was before!
Eddie Trunk is taking serious liberties with the definition of "Metal" music these days.
Who in the fuck is he going to have on his show next???? LADY GAGA? The DAVE MATTHEWS BAND?
