The Foo Fighters briefly covered EWS at Music Midtown in Atlanta on Friday night. Here is the video that I captured

Sorry - I know it's a bit shaky. Everybody was jumping around making the video taking rather difficult.

My wife was there, she said they kicked ass, along with Garbage. She said Joan Jett came out and played with them or something? She saw Pearl Jam last night but I haven't heard about that yet. I am glad she went to it with her girlfriends because other than the album Ten I really do not give a fuck about any of that shit.

I was in Pensacola last night for the Deluna Fest where the Foo Fighters headlined. Their lead guitar player (Chris Shiflett) played the intro to "I'm the One" followed by Taylor and rest of the band following suit. I was probably only a handful of people there that even recognized it, but it was extremely cool. I know Dave Grohl and all those guys are big CVH fans. Anyway, for what it's worth, I got to see Pearl Jam on Friday night and the Foo Fighters last night. I had at one time and before Ed's health issues hoped for a Van Halen "festival" in 2013, but hey I can dream right?

He got busted slightly over the limit while on a moped up here on the Gold Coast during a big day out festival.
Flew back a few months later to personally front southport magistrates court.

He reminds us every time he comes here that he bought a thousand dollar suit and only got a $400 fine.

He'll become an Aussie citizen in ten years or less, mark my words.

Don! What's up bro! Didn't see your post. I bet that was a great show. I saw them in Charlotte last November (one of the best shows I've seen). I guess that's still the same tour. Dave seems to pay homage to VH all the time. Saw him somewhere wearing a CVH t-shirt.
I was in Wisconsin last Saturday night...actually 2 Saturdays ago, and saw Kiss/Motley Crue at Alpine Valley. Killer!

Saw them in 2007 open for The Police at Dodger Stadium. They played at dusk which was kinda cool. Fucking great band. Foo Fighters are better than Nirvana ever was or ever woulda been.


The Police still kicked everyones ass. Wouldn't have it any other way in Los Angeles, CA.
