Nice poster. I've seen it a couple times before around here. Very cool indeed. VH the way it should be always.“Great losses often bring only a numb shock. To truly plunge a victim into misery, you must overwhelm him with many small sufferings.” -
$3 for Van Halen!!??
You coulda seen them 50 times back then for what it costs to see them once now. I wonder what ever became of those other bands on the bill.“Great losses often bring only a numb shock. To truly plunge a victim into misery, you must overwhelm him with many small sufferings.”Comment

Back when people cared about saving 50 cents. I wonder how much a gallon of gasoline cost then? No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!Comment

Hard to believe Eulogy never name it big with such a killer name."Nothing gets a yak over a suspension bridge faster than 'Back in the Saddle Again' by Aerosmith" ~ DLRComment

Copies of these VH flyers show up from time to time on ebay. It would be neat to have in a frame in the Van Halen shrine room. What would be really cool would be to have some of the gold records but damn those things are expensive.American by birth. Southern by the grace of God.

Google says... In 1975, the US national average price of a gallon of regular gasoline was 57 cents. That is equal to about $2.31 per gallon in 2010 dollars.

I remember the early 80's (maybe mid) where gas at AM-PM was .86 cents per gallon. I didnt drive yet, but we would pitch in for 1 guys pickup and all go to the beach. Everyone would toss in a couple quarters or maybe $1 and he would put the $4-$6 in his tank. That was all it took for a whole day of riding around & doing stuff. Back when it was still legal for 7 of us to sit in the bed of the truck going down the freeway.
I miss those days. Glad my mind is still in a condition to remember them well.“Great losses often bring only a numb shock. To truly plunge a victim into misery, you must overwhelm him with many small sufferings.”Comment

They sure played with Stormer a lot. Wonder what ever came of those guys. They need to be contacted and thoroughly interviewed.
And Yankee Rose, how about that? That name sure stuck in Dave's head.Comment
