James Lomenzo on The Amazing Race

I doubt that this belongs in main, but fuck it. I didn't see this posted elsewhere.

My wife and kid watch The Amazing Race after I've worn out the TV with the NFL all Sunday. The season premier was yesterday, and they are introducing the 11 teams.

Along comes James and Abba, Rocker/Lawyer. Damned if ain't James LoMenzo of DLR Band fame. I think the other dude is his brother, he's some kind of entertainment lawyer. They were in first place for a while last night, but then got lost in some park in Shanghai and finished the first leg in ~6th place.

James ain't gonna last long in this game if last night was any indication.

He and his friend had a solid lead, and they fell WAY behind, because neither one of them apparently knew what an abacus was.

I don't think he was.... but he was probably advised not to wear anything that might look like military clothing in a Communist country.

I don't know if I can make that promise, since the show's already been taped ahead of time. Not to mention I don't always watch it. Last night I just had some time to kill before Dexter's season premier came on HellCable.

But do you get Squidbillies and South Park down there? I'm just weighing my options

Yeah we have South Park..... though I'm less than impressed with how I'm portrayed on that show.

Half the teams couldn't even read the word abacus on the clue....let alone know what it was.
