Yeah, I've still got the info. I probably will try asking again once I get James' interview posted and Toshi's done. Maybe he'd be more likely to say yes once I've got the rest of his band up there.

    So let's hear YOUR story....

Are you going to be posting info on what these guys are doing? I am really curious about the September and December dates we have seen, but know nothing about. Especially the September date. That is one day before my birthday. That could be a nice present for me!

What did Animal say about an interview? I bet he has some stories to tell!

The closest I got was at a show last September. Me and my friend ran out of there because we wanted to beat all the traffic and when we ran out he was walking to his tour bus. It wasn't closed off or anything. I didn't get to get a word in though...

I bet he does too. I was supposed to call him back later, but stuff kept getting in the way. It's still a possibility though.

I know there is one Roth Army moderator that has talked with Dave extensively on two different occasions. Also, he and his son met Dave back stage during the 2002 DLR & Brand X Tour. He also knows a guy that is one of Dave’s best friends for the last 20 years.

Yes I have the pleasure of meeting Mr. Roth. Extremely nice, dedicated, loyal, forthright person. I was a roadie for some years for a couple of touring companies out of Ohio. The tour was His first solo tour my first night working was at Carbondale, IL. close to my hometown. Cinderella opened for Dave at dinner (after-party) I told Dave I was a huge fan and thought his music was great. He nicely shook my hand, Smiled and replied, " Great to meet you, but there are about 200 people here I have to talk to. Get a drink, have fun." Later we bumped into each other again and he said hello again and asked if I had spoke to the lighting director yet. I hadn't so Dave introduced me to him and said "95 down 105 to go." Beemed that smile and walked off. Didn't see him again til soundcheck the next day.

Maybe this is what a heroine addict feels like after getting a long awaited fix, shooting up in the corner of some abandoned building and just not giving a fuck about what the rest of the world thinks...TATTOO"

....dust off this old thread! Yes! 3 times! Once he called me a Mother Fucker! Wasn't the right time to talk to DAVE! He was riding his bike down the road and I guess I bugged him! Drove away feeling honored that DAVE spoke to me! LOL! the other two were more pleasent! First time was at a club here in Orlando! Soundcheck:

Third time was just recently when at St. Pete Ribfest! Everytime he has been quiet and pretty much smiled said "Hello" & Thanks for coming to the show!" The security is usually steady moving him along! To sit and chat with DAVE for over a minute probably takes double D's or better! !! !!!DT

CLOSEST we ever got to DAVE, other than when I bumped his shoulder while watching him sign my PENTHOUSE, was in 1999 at the STATION! A small venue held about 600! The stage was chest high and my wife was up against the stage! Dave stepped on her finger. Her finger nail broke. Then DAVE gave her his sweaty bandana! I have DAVE DNA ... can we clone him?LOL Cool basic bandana with pony express rider on it! !! !!!DT
