Since the NFL has essentially took a big SHITE on what their fans want - which is coincidentally also what we as CVH fans want - regarding the halftime show, I respectfully propose the following counteroffensive…
(1) VH to buy TV time coinciding with halftime festivities
(2) VH to take to social media for free, million-hit blitz promoting the show, complete with a video parody of DLR karate-kicking the shit out of Goodell and Steve Bornstein (NFL VP of media) or maybe having his dogs chase them through a field
(3) Agree to play a free three-song set composed of RWTD, Unchained, and STW from LA, NYC, or wherever the hell they are at the time (Ed's house, Dave's dojo, whatever…) to be televised during said TV slot
(4) Also use the spot to kick off the next tour, announce that Mike is back in the band, that Ed and Val are back together, and that the band has bought the Jack Daniels brand.
