.........on the Van Hagar Abortion 2004 World Tour anytime soon? We all know he hasnt let the reunion get to him, and is always enjoying life(July 4th performance, recent public appearances) But I am a bit surprised he has said absolutely nothing publicly about the situation. IMO he is already hard at work preparing for his next kick ass project. I think it's possible this half assed Van Homo situation has sparked him to come up with something really special. Your thoughts on Dave's silence?

It's hard to say after we've heard about the EMT job. Perhaps the master plan is being put together from NY instead. He likes NY and it sure is far far away from the VH sisters.

I'm not sure what we can do about Dave, his image, his music and his shtick to bring him back.

Classic Halen was the bomb. Van Hagar sucks.

Kind of stunning he hasn't said anything about it, but anything he would say is just gonna confirm what we already know.

His interview time would be put to better use talking about other things.

Considering that "DLR Band" was his response to the Van Danniels III album and tour, I'm hoping he's been spending some time in the studio. We'll get that 7th Van Halen album yet, whether or not the Lying Dutchmen are involved :D

I think Dave would like to see a reunion tour of the original VH like anybody else because it was him & Eddie who gave rock & roll a good kick in the ass in those days but I believe Dave is thinking about his next project while some fans live in the past constantly waiting for another reunion after the 96 debacle which ISN'T going to happen!!!

My 2 cents is that Dave is in a really good position right now to really blow away this whole Van Hagar travesty. He needs to get into the studio and work on some kick ass hard rock stuff and bury those cockroaches...

There is probably a HUGE reason he is silent. The silence itself is of a huge benefit to him due to a huge revolt of popular opinion regarding VH (Recent newspaper poll, radio polls). By letting them try to bury him as hard as they can, they are only adding fuel to the fire of his resurgence. He needs not say anything, but let them fall on their faces.

This tour, this record are/are going to fall flat. Then suddenly they will not like Sammy and be stuck without Dave. Maybe then he can tell them to pound sand or make them beg for his leadership.

VH right now is like the Queen Mary. An old ship haunted by Ghosts of Rock n Roll.

Right withya Warham! I found out about the Sham Halen tour from a 19 year old kid at work. "van Halen's gonna be in Detroit in July, You goin'?" he asked me. "When did Dave rejoin Van Halen?"
