Aerosmith added to Stone Music Festival - co-headlining with Van Halen on April 20 - both playing full set lists. Apparently, Aerosmith were originally playing a stand-alone show April 28. This is according to posts from fans on SMF Facebook site - no press reports yet.

I don't think there has been an official announcement yet. Fans talking about this on the SMF Facebook site are responding to emails they have received from Ticketek. I would think Aerosmth's ticket sales for their stand-alone show must have been ordinary, and I suspect ticket sales for the SMF are only at a level to guarantee it will go ahead. So this is probably an attempt for a more lucrative outcome for both parties. I think VH will still be THE headline due to the event marketing. But Aerosmith are probably more 'popular' and mainstream down here. CLassic Van Halen/ Dave-Van Halen has more fans among the metal-heads community.

Yes I'm going Northern Girl - flying the 2,500km round trip from Adelaide, South Oz. And I believe from what I've read on the SMF FB site...VH are still closing.

This whole thing has been so poorly organised. Now they only have 11 working days to re-issue tickets via post before the event - if they are re-issuing for a second time LOL!
