My name's David and I'm a journalist for Fasterlouder, an Australian rock music website.

I'm interviewing David Lee Roth tomorrow so in about 20 hours. If you've ever wanted any questions asked, now's the time.

It's over the phone and there's 20 minutes allocated for the chat, and I'm looking more for 'tough' questions as that's my style... And sorry I won't be able to pass on personal messages or get autographs etc. But yeah I'm looking to challenge him a bit so feel free to throw any questions this way, and there's a good chance they'll get asked! Not much we don't know about Dave...

But clearing up the future touring question would be nice.

Dave says Van Halen is touring Europe at the end of the year, but the Van Halens' management says no.

Why five years of total silence and now you're doing back to back interviews ??

1. Tell us about the dustup with the Clash back during the early 80's.

2. How were songs like Could This Be Magic, Push Comes To Shove, etc. written? (Quite a change of pace for VH).

3. Details on how they wrote songs back in the day and why they could hammer out an album in days/weeks vs. the months it takes now.

4. Elaborate on the 50-60 dates at the end of the year in Europe.

5. Why would they not play Drop Dead Legs, Stay Frosty, etc live?

6. Why not release any rare, obscure footage to us longsuffering VH battered wives?

I'd love to hear Dave's take on these questions in his current state of mind.

Trivial compared to Elvis' questions but...

Were any of the ADKOT songs from the 2000 'almost' reunion?

Any plans to officially release any or all of No Holds Barbeque era of solo material?

Can you tell us what ever came of the songs that had been started as 1984's follow up? Did Eat Thy Neighbor become something on 5150?

Who else besides John 5 has participated in the recording of the Rainbow Bar & Grill project?

5. Why would they not play Drop Dead Legs, Stay Frosty, etc live?

I'll have to second this one....

Even during the soundchecks of the Velveetapalooza 2004 trainwreck, they would break out "Drop Dead Legs" in the soundchecks when the Ched Assclown wasn't around. It wasn't the best version, because Ed wasn't the best version of himself at the time, obviously.

But it would be a logical assumption that if he wanted to play the song then, it would be a natural now that the correct singer is back in the band. And that song was so "Dave" at its core that I can't imagine he wouldn't want to sing it.

(Even though oddly enough he never has, that I know of)
