The last tour, every show there were 2 - 3 songs where he sounded spectacular. Maybe they do a live cd and cherry pick songs from different shows? I wonder if they have 2007 recorded.

Best performer in the world and you can't get it done??

Good point. Now that I think about it, full-length concert videos released on VHS weren't that common in the 80's. The only ones I remember watching back then were "Song Remains the Same" and "Live Without a Net".

Seems odd to me artists like Dave who produced a really good live show would pass up the opportunity to cash in on a well-made concert film.

I've watched hundreds of clips and I seem to have missed those...

        Please point to an example...

Spectacular might be too strong of a word. Perhaps decent? Good? Fine? Okay? Love Dave, but not sure he sounded spectacular in 2012.

Lemme see...we have discussed this 100 billion times over the past 12 years or whatever?

            It needs further rantings.
40 years and no full-length concert film with David Lee Roth? Hello???????

Someone has a screw loose for not taking advantage of the possibilities.

The screws were loose 30 years ago... they've since fallen out and were swept up and discarded along with the empty Schlitz cans, Jack and Smoking Loon bottles. Rotting in a landfill in Southern California...

I love that Baltimore show. They whip into Crossroads. Really good for one camera.
