I have to admit, as a big fan of The Roth Show when it first started, it's gotten a little stale for me. I only watched about half of the first pro wrestling episode and have yet to watch the second. His radio and podcast interviews have been more interesting lately. Is there a disk of all the DLR rarities?

I disagree , the roth shows are cool to ok. Hey of course I want to see new music or have dave be busy in more musical endeavours . But having Dave spill his guts once in a while aint the worst way to spend 30 mins .
Especially if its just as a bit of background shit .
I did prefer the 3 of them chewing up the old days and I would prefer Dave to avoid wrestling and shit and stick to the million stories he no doubt has about his music career .
      fuck your fucking framing

I actually haven't seen either of those. Wrestling appeals to me about as much as NASCAR which is not at all. For me, the only way the series can avoid getting long in the tooth is to feature more topics that directly relate to the dawn of CVH. We've heard a lot about Dave's youth and interests, but what I want to hear from the horses mouth are his tales of his early twenties as they relate to carving out his own personal niche in rock music.

Hate to say it, but I don't give a fuck about Dave outside of music. I don't give a fuck about his dog. I don't give a fuck about his overalls. I don't give a fuck about him doing the EMT shit. I don't give a fuck what he thinks about wrestling. I don't give a fuck about any of it.

If he wants me to give a fuck about it, he'll need to put it into song. It's that simple. DLR is interesting to me through music. I want my Dave Diamond style. Speaking to me through music. Not rambling aimlessly about bullshit I don't give a fuck about.

If he were to focus on his musical career, I'd listen all day long.

No. Never sold any. They have popped up here and there, but mostly low res.

I have a very good friend that worked in the VH camp from around '78-'84. He has some never before seen (I've seen them) 35mm slides that he shot, from a '78 show where they opened for Sabbath, and an outdoor daytime show they did at a High School in Bay City, MI. Someday he will come off them! Someday he will let me post them here! He cannot sell, or let the stuff out, because of his relationship with the band. Sacred.

Good for him. It's nice to see some folk still have ethics.

I wish mine were 35mm slides, but I couldn't afford a camera like that. I was in High School. But, it's all good!

Should have seen Dave's face when I whipped this out! He signed this at the WRIF studio, right after performing that version of Tin Cup Chalice.

That's why the One Piece Thermo Moulded Country Plastic Chair episode was the best one yet.
