I remember the day that 5150 was released. The Rolling Stones album "Dirty Work" was released the exact same day.
Prior to that, any day that the Stones and VH both released a record at the same time should have been declared a national goddamned holiday.
But in this case, BOTH were such collossal disappointments.
At least the Stones recovered in time (after a well publicized soap opera played out in the press for 3 years) but Van Hagar only got worse. And Van Halen wouldn't be Van Halen again for another 20 years (aside for those two songs in 1996)
