Why would Dave or Ed go on that show when Trunk just got done knob gobblin' Samborita and asking him if he wants sloppy seconds and thirds?
Trunk actually asked Cabo Cunt once on that show --- "How does it feel to grow up poor and become a tequila mogul?"
That's when I knew Eddie Trunk needs to die slowly of scrotum cancer.

Apart from the fact that they have no truck with the media these days, my guess is ... it's for the same reason they pick the likes of Kool and the Gang and Ky-Mani Marley (and back in the old days, The Fabulous Poodles, etc etc) to open their tours. They have never courted a metal audience, even if a lot of us listen to metal and happen to be VH fans.
They have never thought they were metal, and probably regard anything with a title like That Metal Show as a gehtto for washed-up hair bands.THINK LIKE THE WAVESComment

It's because EVH doesn't want to answer anything remotely close to a question about ANY of the breakups, or any MA questions, let alone answer questions for an hour....
And let's face facts - Trunk has made his bed... True, he did say compliments like "Van Halen I - Changed The World", but there is absolutely no doubt that he's a sheep, and he hasn't hidden that one bit.... So knowing that, why would EVH ever accept to be on that show and subject himself to an hour full of Bette questions?
It's the same reason that Gene & Paul will never be on the show, even though I agree with Trunk on that one...Eat Us And Smile - The Originals

Probably deserves a thread itself but do you honestly not know what the answer To that question would be , it's the same as any father would say . I wanted to make music with my son.
Maybe they should have done it away from van halen but it's always been a no brainer to me as why wolf is in , it's just a good job he can't sing or do high kicks
