    Another VH 'hearing" in a strange place.

    I've always said whenever I hear VH on the radio it's going to be a good day. But today was an unusually pleasant surprise.

    Had to go for an MRI for my back this AM. Not only is it slightly claustrophobic, but my stinking back hurts like hell trying to lay still for 30 min or so. Oh well. So they give you this list of Sirius channels you can listen to. Cool! I look for hard rock but my closest choices are current hard rock and 70's/80's classic rock. I opted for the 70's/80's and decided I'd just go to sleep. But during the fourth set of magnetic banging around, on comes "Hot for Teacher". It made me smile.

    What's the strangest place you ever heard Van Halen?

                                      You can call me a fag but no it isn't. The most influential guitarist since Hendrix is in the band but they use a keyboard as the lead instrument. There's a little fancy guitar work in the middle but it's mainly keyboard.

                                                  It's not that I truly despise the song. I hate what MTV did to Van Halen. Jump's not the worst song or video but it was the beginning of the end for CVH.
