    The California Jam

Was watching Ozzy special on VH-1 God Bless Ozzy. They showed footage of his performance at the California Jam so we know there has to be footage of VH?!

If VH is going to nothing else wish they would cut threw the red tape and release these historic performances!!

There were two California Jam concerts. The first one in 1974 and a second one in 77 or 78. Van Halen didn't play any of the Cal Jam shows. They were great festival concerts and they even made a profit. I think Cadaver Dog was at one of them.
No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!

Ozzy & Sabbath played at CalJam '74, which would have been 4 years before they toured with Van Halen. And VH themselves had just started playing clubs at that time, so they wouldn't have even been considered for the lineup of such a festival.

David Lee Roth was at Cal Jam 1 to watch Black Oak Arkansas and learn Jim Dandy's moves.
