Come on Dave. Just release this album already for christ's sake. It's not like this album would reduce the sales of the live album- the live album will take care of that all by itself.

This record won't see the light of day so long as Ed has a say so.
American by birth. Southern by the grace of God.

The Double Standard in Van Halen...

Wolfgang can tour and record with Tremonti all day, but Dave can't release a solo album or he'll be fired....

Von posted a while back that it couldn't be released due to contractual issues. And anybody who thinks those contractual issues are John's then you're nuts. Hard to believe Dave Signed away his rights to be an artist outside of VH, especially with the brothers' history of doing nothing most of the time...

I don't remember if he said "contractual", or "record company stuff". But he indicated to me, that it was definitely something along those lines. I'll try and clarify on Tuesday.

I will be amazed that is does not get leaked out eventually in some bootleg, one way or another... and if it is any good, I think Dave owes it to himself to 'accidently' get a few songs out there
