Oh my god I have learned so much about that just thru osmosis here just enough to bury any attempts at boosting that hacks legasy.
I will say it was what it was, lots of people dug it... Montrose and VHaggis and The other half of , I chose a different path.
I have even sat thru that horrid MA 360 thing in -The Music Forum- here, not realizing the shit "background music" was his latest effort with hagar, abysmal.
Music that was so loudly layed down in the discussion video, you couldn't even make out what MA was saying...that is cunt beyond cunt behavior on hagars part.
Is it MA360 or a half assed way to garner some music interest in a band...it's fucked up for sure.2015 once smoke 2 smoke ...poke

Ah there was no defunct booze label. Sam wanted to build a club in Cabo and the Van Halens and Mike went in with him. They wanted out because the place wasn't doing well and Sam bought them out. Sam took it over and made the place successful. Sam wanted a Cabo Wabo name brand tequila for his club bought it from a small mom and pop distillery where the locals bought their tequila. People liked it. He brought it to the US demand spiked he bought the distillery and later sold the brand for something like $80 million. Yeah Van Halen produced a song named Cabo Wabo. Sam named the club that and the band were original investors but the place didn't take off until Sam took it over and fix some things. He built a successful brand and makes a lot of money off of it. That doesn't have much to do with Van Halen other than the song named Cabo Wabo. Sam is probably the richest guy that was ever in VH. He's ran some other successful business ventures. He's made more in business than he has in music and frankly is a better businessman than he is a musician.No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!Comment

Lots of people feel that way the old OH nOOs synth in VH...ble ble blaah blaah.
It was the last vid we got from Roth and Ed till Tattoo...so I will always find my way with it,, to the dance floor with whatever honey needs a shake.
Has it been overplayed hell yes but it does strike a time in our memories and it is a toe tapper...so deal with it or don't.

I was at a friends house in what 1974 ??? (Montrose) with a guitarist friend of mine he had a excellent SG, red it was so fine... and he brought out the LP and played along with it all I could think was who is that fucking screeching bitch singer.
Ronnie, great guitarist couldn't get past Hagar....my bad I guessss....
