I've been saying this for a while now, but it would be intreresting if they threw us a curveball and opened up with "Ain't Talkin' Bout Love"

1. Hot for Teacher
The lights go down. From the dark we hear the pound of the drum and then the unmistakable drum intro to HFT begins as the spotlight fades in on Alex. A second spotlight drops on Edward as he begins the opening riff. Halfway through the opening riff, a spotlight drops on Wolfie, only he's not playing the bass, he's playing guitar and he joins in on the opening riff. Then when the rhythm guitar part kicks in a large spot goes to center stage and there is the surprise appearance of Michael Anthony. As the crowd cheers, DLR zip lines from above the drum riser landing in a nice old-man-safe landing zone as Mike ducks and lets him pass overhead. The spot follows Dave out to the front of the stage, he says his howdys and when the band kicks back in, the whole thing goes up in lights. "T-T-Teacher, stop that screamin…."
Goes right into...
2. Everybody Wants Some
"Heard you missed him, He's baaaaack." Dave introduces Mike. Mike plays a SHORT bass intro then starts thumping...
3. Runnin With The Devil
The show continues with some classics and some new.
4. Somebody Get Me A Doctor, including some kind of medley thing in the middle.
5. Hear About it Later
6. As Is
7. Women In Love
8. Light Up the Sky
"Light Em Up ends with a prolonged bathing of light and then the stage goes dark.
Moments later, the spotlight comes up and Dave and Ed are sitting on stools with Acoustic guitars.
They crank out a version of…
9. Could This Be Magic
Followed by "a little something different."
Mike and Alex join the two on stage, Alex with a minimal drum setup of some kind and Mike with an acoustic bass. The band performs
10. Damn Good
…while vintage photos of the band play on a slide show behind the stage. At the end they show a photo of the new five-member Van Halen, Wolf comes out and joins them and they all take a bow.
Dave takes the mike, now standing with his acoustic. He begins telling a story about the sounds of summertime while the spot closes on him. He begins
11. Ice Cream Man
…and when it's time, the band kicks in. At the end, Dave says. "All my flavors arrrrrrrrre," and plays a little run on his guitar. "Ooooo all my flavors arrrrrrrre," he goes again. "All my flavors are G-g-g-g-g," and he begins the opening to…
12. Stay Frosty
They play some or all of the song. Dave introduces Edward Van Halen.

Once the venue is empty, they run back out on stage and play DTNY and Tattoo with amps powered completely by OCD. A custodian films it on his phone and half the people on the internet get angry because they didn't get to see it.I'm Stayin' Frosty!Comment

Not a complete "in-order" set list, but here's my two cents of faves I would like to hear (along with the usual):
Unchained (opener)
Little Guitars
Blood and Fire
Bottoms Up! (With a flashback on the screen of Dave doing Bottoms Up in his Chaps pants from back in the day!)
Dance the Night Away
A "sweet interlude" Dave Solo of "Could this be Magic" and "Damn Good"
Stay Frosty (instead of Ice Cream Man)
In a Simple Rhyme

Personally speaking , my ideal setlist would heavily emphasize the first four albums especially Fair Warning .
A rotation of The Full Bug , Hang 'Em High , Cathedral/Secrets from Diver Down .
A rotation of Drop Dead Legs , Girl Gone Bad , and House Of Pain from 1984 .
A rotation of Tatoo , She's The Woman , and Stay Frosty from A Different Kind Of Truth .
Somehow incorporate an acoustic guitar showcase from Edward as well reminiscent of Spanish Fly .
I could do without Jump , Panama , I'll Wait , Hot For Teacher , Pretty Woman , Little Guitars , and Dancing In The Street . Classic Rock radio has all but ruined these tunes for me .
I'm absolutely sure this would NEVER happen but it would be a sheer delight to see and hear Van Halen do Damn Good Times .Last edited by Green Manalishi; 04-06-2015, 05:04 PM.Comment

I need to see On Fire and Light Up the Sky to be satisfied in my life with live Van Halen. I've been lucky and seen many of my favorites live. Stay Frosty would be a treat as well. It sounds like all of these are in the pantheon of 'hardest to sing Van Halen Songs" but they are also all very badass. On Fire is probably the most underrated VH song in my opinion. And it would shred DLR if he sang it today. Maybe Artie Lange is available.
I'll Wait is the worst Van Halen song of the all the Roth albums and it's a piece of garbage and I'm personally offended that it was played live to me. I did have to piss though so it worked out. Jump as an encore is very effective as a traffic beater.
I'm looking forward to the 2015 tour.gnaw on itComment

Haven't looked at anybody else's. Gonna keep it to 25 like Tokyo Dome. Mine is unrealistic. No Jump. If they did this, but decently, I'd float for a month. This list ain't for the casual fan, I think it's for us. I even left off my probable favorite, HAIL for some other stuff. Now I can look at the other lists.
Hang 'em High
Dirty Movies
And The Cradle Will Rock
As Is
Drop Dead Legs
Hot For Teacher
Honeybabysweetiedoll
Feel Your Love Tonight
Secrets
Wimmen In Love
You and Your Blues
Yankee Rose (They realize they don't really have a problem with it.)
D.O.A.
So This Is Love?
In A Simple Rhyme
Push Come to Shove
Stay Frosty
Little Guitars
Light Up The Sky
Can't Get This Stuff No More
Everybody Wants Some
Unchained
Panama
Romeo Delight
