Here ya go... talk about VH opening the CMT Country Music Awards tomorrow night...
Speaking with ABC Radio after the band’s appearance, frontman David Lee Roth revealed that Van Halen also has been tapped to open another awards ceremony, the CMT Music Awards, which the CMT network will air live from Nashville on June 10.
"If the American people had ever known the truth about what we (the BCE) have done to this nation, we would be chased down in the streets and lynched." - Poppy Bush, 1992
Who knows... other than that article/interview there's no mention of VH and CMT anywhere else on the planet. Maybe it's one of those "other dimension" things like the touring Europe thing Dave spouted off about a couple years ago.
I thought this was hilarious...
While a show that celebrates the top artists in country music may seem like an odd forum for the hard-rocking Van Halen, Roth said he believed that his band’s passionate approach to rehearsing and creating music has made it a group that appeals to fans of various musical genres.
"passionate approach"..? Yeah man, fucking around the house doing nothing for 3 years with a handful of rehearsals 2 weeks before the show!! That gets country, pop and rap fans all excited to see the Mighty Van Halen... :rolleyes
"If you want to be a monk... you gotta cook a lot of rice...”
I hope not I'm meant to be seeing him in a few days...
Discovery are still doing Shark Week?
Dozens of documentaries which for the first 55 minutes pretend sharks are dangerous and for the last 2 minutes admit that they aren't.
Strip out the coming next, the commercial breaks, the summaries of what has been said before the break, the vacuous paragraph of sub Oscar presenter speech shit at the start and end and you could fit the script of the average Discovery documentary on half a sheet of paper...
