Ozzy was doing all kinds of crazy shit back in those days, so that wouldn't surprise me. But was Sharon present at all? Ozzy was still married to his first wife at the time, and Sharon was merely the manager's daughter. It's my understanding that they didn't hook up until after he had been kicked out of Sabbath, was living in LA, fairly depressed and fucked up on substances... Sharon came to town, basically acting as a bill collector for the old man, and then somehow "fell for" Ozzy in his fucked up state.
I suppose it's remotely possible that she and her dad might have been on tour with Sabbath & VH in 78, but I really doubt it.Eat Us And Smile

Damn- Good Point you're right she probably wasn't there at the time in '78. I just recently read Mick Wall's Symptom Of The Universe book and there was no mention of her being on the '78 Tour that I recall. I would've remembered it. Sharon no doubt most likely met Ozzy but didn't actually hook up with him until '79 like you said then they went over to England to record The Blizzard Of Ozz album.
But I thought Dave's Krell Wars story took place in the USA the chapter doesn't specify but assumed it was a regular thing hanging out on tour not necessarly just one night but who knows. Or even cares for that matter.

It seems odd that if they did cut off half his hair that no one mentioned it more as they played Germany in October 1978 and then another 20 shows in the US immediately afterwards including the one that is always talked about where Ozzy was lost and missed a show. Maybe the amount of hair has been exagerated over the years, I guess the eyebrow would be less of a problem onstage using makeup.
As for whether Sharon was even there she's not the most honest person in the world or it could even be a false memory at this point remembering a story Ozzy had told her.
