    ED on David Letterman 85/86

Back in the day --before roy when all was still good--
Ed played with the CBS orchestra-- Paul Schaeffers' band--

Dave (Lettrerman) asked Ed just before commercial break--"Does' that DAVID LEE ROTH get on your nerves"
Ed looked up from behind his guitar and nodded yes. thats' when i knew it was over

    Did anyone else catch this?

He didn't exactly nod yes... just grinned at Letterman's joke, but yes it seemed kind of foretelling... his expression.

Then again, the Guitar World interview had just been published where he spoke as if all was well...

Letterman followed up with some b/s about "you should lose that guy"...

Damn that Letterman, he planted the seed!!!
