      IF...........

If these numbers are accurate it's the same thing I've seen over and over and repeatedly pointed out. VHagar are doing pretty well in REALLY BIG CITIES but when it comes to all of the mid size cities (which BANDS RELY ON FOR A SUCCESSFUL TOUR) they are having trouble from all indications I've seen. As a band you have plenty of choices when planning a tour. Some bands who KNOW they will not draw well outside of really big cities only tour in big cities for that reason. From everything I've seen VHagar would have been wise to just do about 25 or 30 cities that are really fucking big places. Instead they chose to do a massive tour based on the idea there would be huge demand everywhere. It simply does not seem to be bearing out. I've seen several shows that only drew a little more than half a house in full sized arena's. This is not good. At the writing of this post it seems like they should have ONLY played really big cities and markets. But of course as usual Hagar was fully confident the tour would "sell out all over the place". I guess when your era from a group only sold around HALF of what the original singer's era sold yet somehow you take from this that your era was bigger then the logic makes sense that the tour would be massive. Of course we all know the truth on both of these counts...

I know for a fact that The Mandalay Bay seats 12,000 and both shows are sold out. The Staples Center holds over 18,000 and at least 1 show is sold out.

like everyone has been saying, van haggis is most
likely to sell out in large city areas. they're not selling
out in mid and small city venues, though.

they could solve that problem by repeating a tour
next year with a headliner: Diamond Dave

                M BAY & STAPLES

Mandalay Bay---LAS VEGAS. Staples Center----LOS ANGELES. If you're band can't do well in these HUGE markets for entertainment then you have no business being on tour at all. Like I said before (and you obvisouly didn't read) it's one thing to do well in huge markets and cities. It's quite another to pack them in in mid size cities and smaller markets. Some bands have proven they could do it on their "reunion" tours. Kiss did it in 96', F MAC did it a few years back on their 1st reunion tour, The Eagles did it in the early 90's. VHagar are not doing it. Not outside of huge cities/markets.

                    Who's Sammy Hagar?
David Lee Roth says that Sammy Hagar is a bridge drone troll. I think he is a complete whiney bitch who is deathly afraid of the success that Classic Van Halen had that he could never live up to. Bluntly put he is just an old angry man who lives in a delusional fantasy world in which Van Hagar sold 20 million more albums than Classic Van Halen. Every time he talks he utters nothing but lies and sounds like a sack of assholes. Sarge told me that Bette Midler and Sammy Hagar are the same person. For a laugh please ask me who Bette Midler is. Thanks for your time. ..
"I decided to name my new band DLR because when you say David Lee Roth people think of an individual, but when you say DLR you think of a band. Its just like when you say Edward Van Halen, people think of an individual, but when you say Van Halen, you think of…David Lee Roth, baby!"!

Besides the ambiguous 7,000 attendance per concert figure, is there any complete attendance listing for the VH concerts to date?
