So - according to rumor - first is the 40th anniversary tour next year, where most of the band will be in their mid 60s.
THEN after that is the Farewell Tour, where most of the band will be pushing 70 years old?
Meh.
For me, the 2012 tour was MY Farwell Tour to the group: thanks for the memories, and you're welcome for all the bread I gave you over the last 3 + decades.
Ain't payin' premium prices for what Roth so aptly once put as "Rockers With Walkers".
Van Halen music was made by young men, and while the music itself has aged just fine to my ears, the group wasn't designed to age gracefully...and it hasn't.
