I like INXS...but I think this show idea is ridiculous. Seriously...talk about tasteless. Their main image and most important ingredient killed himself. So, now you're going to have a tasteless show replacing him on T.V. just for the hype? Imagine how we'd feel watching Van Halen do this. Christ, Sam has already said he won't be doing an album with them. VH probably will do a T.V. show next year (for the show's next season).

A great venue for judgement, humor and insight. The guy's no-holds-barred approach would be a perfect fit.

i think itd be a bad move for him to do american idol...since they would have to do more of the pop songs and butcher them.

the INXS show is awful, and TLC is now doing it as well if i remember correctly. but there was another show that was going to be more rock oriented but pretty much exactly like american idol but with acutal bands instead of solo artists.

ha ha ha...and it would take a lot for the editors to do to cut dave's comments in the format of the show...and if chaim witz is also on the show it may end up in some fistfights...
