                    Tom, it's true.

Even Brett (owner and gustapo) and the moderators @ the links post here.

We have a very loose policy here.

You can say anything you want - as long as you have a point.

The links operate on a "I have a small penis therefor I dictate - Napolean" complex.

I invite you to hang out @ the links for awhile.

It's the equivalent to TigerBeat Magazine where we are RollingStone.

                    I use this analogy loosely.

Just to give you an idea.

                    Stick around.

                    Have a good time.

Go to our bootleg section and download DLR in Japan in January 2004.

excellent recording (soundboard is my guess) , small club, get an idea how DLR sounds now.

                    Check it out.

                          Foolery,

You have to admit at this point in time album sales dont mean shit anyway. Most of America's music buyer's are the MTV Hip Hop brain washed musically illiterate punks who think a turn table is an intrument. So fuck album sales. David Lee Roth may never return to Van Halen but I promise you one thing, when I have children or grandchildren and they ask me what kind of music I listened to I promise I'll bust out my guitar and tell them a story about classic Van Halen and how for six great albums Rock & Roll lived strong untill the day it was dealt its final blow.

Beginning in 1985 with his first release Crazy From The Heat, Dave has enjoyed great success as a solo artist, earning one gold and three platinum records, and achieving nearly five million album sales to date. He has had two top-ten hits with “California Girls” (#3) and “Just Like Paradise” (#6)--the latter of which was also #1 on the rock charts for four weeks--as well as two top-20 hits with “Just A Gigolo/I Ain’t Got Nobody” (#12) and “Yankee Rose” (#16). Working with some of the finest musicians in the world, Dave created the varied sounds and textures that shaped the broad and diverse recordings of his solo career--recordings that touched on his rock, blues, R&B, jazz and big band influences.

Now how many Records did Sammy have in his Solo Carreer?? And Sammy had only two Top 20's while Dave has had 4...2 Might be remakes but HITS nontheless

Hopefully this will shut all the Losers up

I had the opportunity to catch the Dave & sam show in Raleigin 2002. I can honestly say that there was no comparison in showmanship and just simpy sounding better live. Dave smoked sammy's ass. He hit all the notes and actually moved aroung the stage unlike sammy who had a hard till doing anything more than shrilling behind the mike with his sandles on.

If this is the case then no one can argue that BOBW is falling flat. Dont you think that DLR VH had more record sales because that was a totally new vibe, Van Halen changed the face of music, and in doing so became insanly popular, but its hard to keep something like that going. I believe that even if dave would have stayed with the band the sales would have been about the same as they were with hagar, no more no less
