Would tend to doubt it: many of the venues themselves are closing down due to the virus, so it's not even like the artists have any choice in the matter.
The latest trend for venues is to tell bands we don't have a budget to pay bands anymore due to COVID, and expect bands to play for free. It's a nice scam and apparently performers are falling for it.
