I have to say that it's the Van Hagar combo that I don't dig. It tarnishes the combustible vibe the original four members had.
I don't mind Hagar solo. It means he's away from Ed & Al.

If they're not ever going to get together with DLR then go out as a trio (even tho that'll never happen--Ed will put his son on bass). Case in point?
