Excuse me, but Davy Baby HIMSELF said, (from "Crazy From The Heat") "Eddie Van Halen, without a guitar in his hand, is a CRUMMY HUMAN BEING."
'Nuff said
"He doesn't need to sell millions of records, he doesn't need to fill arenas, he doesn't need to be popular, he doesn't need your money, AND HE DOESN'T NEED YOU!"
Blackflag on DLR
"Stop pickin' on ED"......it is kinnda like kickin' around the savant kid down the street.
Naw, FUCK HIM!!!!
He's had it commin' for a long time. He used to be UNTOUCHABLE, adored by his fans and revered by guitar players everywhere. But his sanctimonioius interviews and indifference towards his fans have made him fair game to rag upon.
So, once again, here's a big FUCK YOU to that drunken bastard EVH!! :bottle:

I don't see what Ed's done wrong to all the people who don't even know the guy. Lighten up, everyone.
Maybe he hired a fat piece of shit to be the singer, turned the band into a POP band, and then decided to try and cover up the fact that DAVE was the guy that put them in gear, and made them kick ass... Ed a miserable fool who has lied, cheated, and screwed over not only the fans, but the other guys in the band(Mikey), the management, and, well, the FANS. We would GLADLY stand in allegiance with Ed if he put aside his petty grievances with Dave, put Dave back in control(cause Dave is the ONLY one in the group with vision, and DIRECTION), got his chops in working order, and let them take over the world again...
Post-1996, Ed gave us all a big shit sandwich to eat by dumping Roth.
Dave bailed in 1985. Don't really have a problem with what Ed was saying in the press about Roth 1985-1996, as Roth was doing his fair share too. Don't have a problem with Hagar joining the band. Not like Roth was ousted to make room for Sammy.
Ed and his brother have basically given fans of that classic lineup, you know, the ones who made Van Halen millionaires before the term power ballad was even in the lexicon, the middle finger.
Now look where Ed and his band are today. Good for nothing but half-empty concert halls and greatest hit collections.
