I shouldn't have started this thread in such a manner. I wasn't implying the links as a whole. I was just talking about The irony in Kid Vegas getting banned here and then getting shit from a certain few posters over there. This was fucking stupid on my part and I'm now sorry that I did.

I gotta say, Seenbad, I like you and many of the other mods (Mike L., Glenn, Brett)...but the place has changed. It's been cleared of so many of the ol' timers with new blood in its place and daily posts about how classic VH sucked. I've read enough of them. I've also noticed that defending classic VH can get you into trouble, and stating that you don't like the current tour gets you eventually labelled by many posters as a trouble-maker and often one of the more pro-Hagar mods will step in and agree (though definitely not all the mods by far). There are a ton of great people there, and it used to be great...but it's more a Sammy Hagar forum then Van Halen forum to me. I see a ton of discussion on Sam's solo career and VH career. But starting up a discussion about Dave often turns into a fight. And it's too bad...I used to love posting there!

Anyway, no offense...I don't want it to seem like I'm dissing everyone there, because I'm not. But assholes like MotionBlur, BadKaraoke and littleguitars99 make it impossible to have normal discussion half the time.

Rikk, with all do respect (and I think you know I mean that), "daily threads about how classic vh sucked" simply does not happen. Agreed there are a lot of pro sam things going on now, and I'm perfectly fine with that because it's a van halen board and that is van halen right now. If people want to be pro whatever, fine. Defending your views on preference doesn't get you in to trouble no matter what. What can and does happen though is the "way" that defense is positioned can land you on the other side of the fence, ie ajw. (and by the way, badkaraoke has been banned before too. This isn't one sided).

I know you personally are not labeled as a troublemaker by any of us. In fact, most of the time youre the poster boy for making a well thought out and articulate pro-Roth arguement/stance. I think it's safe to say that everybody knows that my personal preference to van halen is clearly Roth. That being said, I wish there were a lot more posters like you posting there to balance it out. But, often the case turns to exasperation and frustration because 1. The sheer number of halen fans that don't care about era. 2. The redheads that reside there. Both these groups will *generally* see some fuckiing bonehead like diamond den or some other lame ass fucking troll come over and post a bunch of spammy this, sheep that as representation of the "roth stance" and just assume that you don't have a brain either. YOU GOTS SOME BAD REPRESENTATION OVER THERE DUDE, AND IT AIN'T DOIN' YOUR THANG ANY FAVORS!! If people that had a brain and the ability to use it in a well thought out rant and/or defense rather than "cocksuckin sheep fucker!!" all the time, I think the tide would at least be stableized.

Dude you need to relax. Like I said I had nothing against Brett, Top Timmy, Glenn or yourself. I had to do what I had to do because THE MARD struck the wrong fuckin' chord and I spoke my mind. We are allowed to do that in this world you know. I knew there was a pretty good chance of getting banned for it and I took that chance. You and the above mentioned were never sheep in my book. It was the others like THE MARD and other Hagarites that deserved that tag. Another thing, I don't think I am being a hypocrite at all. You guys banned me and I came here to settle down. Nothing wrong with that in my book. At the Links you had to tip toe around about everything you said there. Here is a different story. More freedom by a long margin. The hypocritical part is calling a place you enjoyed for a long time things like hagar links and whatever else you consider derogatory in an effort to be accepted here right off the bat and all for a decision that YOU felt you had to make by going off the handle.
