I'm planning on being in Vegas for one of the shows.
Would love to meet some of the people here.
Probably don't remember me, but you folks introduced me to the depths of Dave, along with social media banter before social media was a thing.
Much love
I can imagine a one time tour with multiple guitarists paying tribute to Ed...
Don't think they would do a tour like that, but I had thought they might do a one off tribute show, like the Freddie Mercury concert in 1992. If Dave's retiring, this seems unlikely now. Unless they do that in Vegas, which doesn't really seem to be the best venue for such a show.

I could totally seeing him being the same way as Norm Mcdonald and hiding an illness from the masses because he's not looking for that kind of attention

As I told my wife... just can't do the Vegas stuff while there lol
No hookers and tigers?
I think I remember you posting when you were a teenager.
$1k for floor tickets on the last night at the moment.
I would be careful about what you go for in the end. Earlier today I saw 2 sets of 2 tickets. One was a platinum package on the balcony front row @ $1699 and from the same website the seats directly 1 row behind were half that price. Still an insane price but it's all relative I guess. Not sure what the platinum package involves either, probably a $30 bottle champagne and a badge or something lol.
The sad thing about it being Vegas is that no doubt there will be plenty of disinterested high rollers who will be comped tickets at the last minute on the night by casino handlers.
Person-O-lee I think Dave is showing signs of dementia. Some of his latest stage persons seem to confirm my theory. To refer to Eddie as "his guitar player" also substantiate my non-medical bias.

Not sure but I took that as worries about his back etc.
A pinch of salt with Dave is always needed. Half the thing he has posted is about scraping together food and so on back in the day and ok he has told stories about his Mum being tough but the bottom line is he did literally live in a huge mansion in Pasadena during the time he describes so the starving musician thing is a bit meh. There will be some truth in it as at that age you would rather slum it with pals than go back home but hey it's all a bit of a romantic story.
