If you are walking along listening to a podcast and it suddenly cuts out there are a few possiblities.
a) Your device has run out of power
b) Your Bluetooth is acting up
c) The sun has emitted a giant electromagnetic pulse (EMP) which has destroyed all electronic devices
d) You were listening to the DLR Podcast and it just finished.
The latest episode has a long interesting interview with the guy that wrote this
Darren and Steve talk with music journalist Steven Rosen, author of the huge and awesome book, "Tonechaser: Understanding Edward: My 26-Year Journey With Edward Van Halen." The book tells the tale of Rosen's friendship with Eddie, from first their meeting (at a Cheap Trick show at the Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles in 1977!) to how it ended in 2003, and everything in between. Steven tells how, after many years, he ended up writing the book, the labor of love and dedication it became -- 580 pages! -- Neil Zlozower contributing never-before-published photos, his thoughts on Valerie Bertinelli, Michael Anthony, David Lee Roth (of course!), playing guitar with Eddie, interviewing him multiple times and a lot more.
At the top, your "DLR Cast" hosts touch on the little bit of Dave and DLR-releated news, and the lack thereof.
"Tonechaser: Understanding Edward: My 26-Year Journey With Edward Van Halen" is now available via the author at Facebook.com/TONECHASERBOOK and via Amazon, Reverb, and Etsy. Check out Steven at Facebook and at Instagram: @steven.rosen.guitar.picks.Last edited by Seshmeister; 11-18-2022, 09:11 AM.Comment

That is a terrible sentence that you clearly didn't understand even although you wrote it. :D
I'm not saying Dave was never an unintelligent guy.
Three negatives is a negative, you said he is not intelligent one of the enpirically false things in your post.Comment

First live one.
Mainly about the AVH book and a very brief mention of the Roth Army at one point... I think Darren accidentally conflates me and Von which is a strange thought.
Alex Van Halen broke his silence this week with a great Rolling Stone interview, as released the week before his long-awaited memoir "Brothers." This intervi...
Also available from your usual podcast provider of course.Comment

Had a chuckle at his comment that he couldn't handle 'some chick who trolls everyone on the site.
Hahaha.

I think he meant between the two of us, Von and I.
Darren had done a serious amount of research and between that and us spending over 25 years on this board there was a lot of gossip.
It was over 2 and a half hours and needed a crazy amount of editing to remove all the references to NDA's etc. which I'm ashamed to say neither of us has got around to. What We need is one of those tools you get now that automatically transcribes video from a Zoom call into text and then we can edit the text. I'm sure they exist...Comment
