More BULLSHIT from Spammy (the fat) and Alex (the lil' bitch)!

Is Alex on crack? Or just a big (almost broke) Dave hating crybaby?

    Excerpts:

"There's no fat in the Van Halen coffers according to the band's Alex Van Halen and Sammy Hagar. Almost every song they have ever finished recording since their first album in 1978 has been released."

"Ed is very particular in which direction he wants to go in musically and that is forward. I don't know if there is such a thing as going forward in music. It is either up, down, sideways or backwards. It goes in a circle."

More of this Van Hagar flavored bullshit here:

    P.S. VHLinks sucks ass!

They never look backwards, huh? Every album they've released has songs or bits of songs from before they were even signed. Meanstreet? House of Pain? Simple Rhyme? The list goes on and on. There's even a song on Balance that uses the intro from a song I have on a bootleg from 76 or 77. These guys are so full of crap.

If the new material is their "idea" of moving "foward", they should retire. I haven't read ONE review from a legitimate source(I.E. Non-Sheep) that has been Good. If lackluster, or mediocre is the BEST they can achieve, then it's really over. Drunk Ed, Fat Sam, Drunk & Fat Mike, and MORON Alex have had too much time on this board... let's talk about DAVE, or CVH, shall we?

this goes with what they are saying in that article. they reuse things all the time, hell 5150 was written for DLR and one of the new DLR tracks was a balance throwaway...vault is bare with nothing worth while in it.

I think "It's Baout Time" PROVES beyond a shadow of a doubt that Ed's songwriting barrel is EMPTY. It seems to me that it's been empty for a LONG, LONG time....

Can think of a dozen originals VH put on demos prior their 1978 release that have never made it onto albums, never mind alternate recordings of existing classic songs.

Alex is just full of shit. Just more excuses not to release classic VH-oriented material and have any type of focus on Roth, same as the excuses he and Ed made in the fall 0f 1996 as to why classic VH wouldn't be touring.

As to Sam's opinions of unreleased classic tracks, who really gives a shit?

The SISTERS won't be releasing ANY DAVE era leftovers.....It would be the final nail in the coffin if they did. Could you imagine if a lost "GEM" were to suddenly hit rock radio? Something with that classic VAN HALEN swagger and BRAVADO?!?! The new material would REALLY seem like shit to anybody within the SOUND OF DAVE'S VOICE!!!!! Those FUCK STICKS would have to go back to paintin' curbs for a livin'!!!!!!

I could list 30 known and recorded unreleased Van Halen tunes.

                  They're totally lying.

Looking at even non-Roth stuff, they have practically half a finished album with Gary Cherone in the can (maybe more...many songs were listed...this was supposed to be their second). They have that BETWEEN US TWO song that Sammy apparently left the band for (the fight begin over the lyrics of that song...it was apparently in the can). They have many, many songs from the 77 Demo (pretty much finished recordings) that almost everyone on this board has. A version of BIG TROUBLE was recorded for both DIVER DOWN and 1984. There's an unreleased Roth-composed song from the VHII sessions that Eddie once spoke about. There's the cover version of IN THE MIDNIGHT HOUR, recorded and finished during the 1984 sessions. There's that shitty I WANT SOME ACTION song recorded during the 5150 sessions. And apparently many other songs listed in the encyclopedia or described by Ed, Dave, Sam, Mike and the various producers. And this is just songs with finished vocals. Don't forget how many goddamn pieces of music smoker-boy writes for each album.

If there's ever been a band with a giant vault of unreleased material, it's Van Halen. And Dave himself said in the recent CLASSIC ROCK MAGAZINE interview: "Van Halen have a ton of unreleased material we could release." And he was referring to his era...not the other shitty eras.

Well, if Van Halen has publicly announced that there is no "fat in the vault" then I would say that Dave has the rights to all of it.

"Show no Mercy" is the club days track for which Van Hagar used the intro to that piece of shit "Take Me Back (Deja Vu)."

yeah Between Us Two was split into I think Year to the Day on VH3 and Sam reused some of the lyrics one of of his solo songs. Vault empty...they striped everything and reused it it looks like
