Hagar can't even bring himself to say in an interview that the version of Van Halen he was in sold less than half the records the Roth-led version of Van Halen did, much less say that Roth was a big part of the reason for that.
Doubtless it sticks in Hagar's craw that he never got another tour with Van Halen, particularly since the last tour he got with Van Halen was looked upon as the worst tour the band ever did (and that includes the Cherone one).

Hagar would doubtless be better served letting all of it go, saying that being in Van Halen was a great experience for him and leaving it at that.
