I saw the Atomic Punks on 8/31 at the HOB Downtown Disneyland. This BAND IS AMAZING. Ralph Saenz does a better Dave than Dave does!!! It's really scary because I know Dave.ThugPop123Comment

I heard they played in Oakland last month,
but I was out of town and couldn't make the show.
I've heard the same thing you mention starwood,
but I would still like to see them.
As far as the Punks....
did you make it to their show Scrapy?
It is a show worth checking out in my opinion.
I saw them in LA at the Whiskey with some dlrml'ers.
I thought Ralph and the guys were amazing!
They put on a great show.

I just seen Ralph monday, they play as "Metal Skool" on Monday nites at the Roxy on Sunset..
"Metal Shop" is dead: The VIP'er Lounge claims they have rights to the name (like CitiBANK® Visa™ has over "Danger Kitty™") and the Roxy can afford to pay way way more for Ralph and the Boys to do their cover-tunes schtick in a bigger joint than the VIPer Dive. And they rock!
They do 80's hair-metal cover tunes within a comedy act where they wear wigs: the bass player's hairstyle without the wig, for example resembles Wally from Leave It To Beaver.. very short.Comment

Sorry this response comes so late after your question......but the answer is DO NOT MISS THE ATOMIC PUNKS. They are the real deal...absolutely fantastic. Ralph Saenz does David Lee Roth better than anyone. You will have a kick-ass time. I see them every chance I can get!!!Comment
