"Eddie Van Halen without a guitar is not a nice person."

Wait, he may have had one while he was glaring at Sam...

Maybe we should combine the two threads into the Ed watch

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the true decline of Western Civilization... ...sad, very sad.

Wow! Hagar sold more albums? Not according to www.van-halen.com. OK, so the author is off by a few million.

I live in SJ, and I've gotta say I'm surprised I actually agreed with most of this guys review. Usually I disagree with every review he writes, but he was right on with the "sorely missed" comment.

Heh, my hand is in the front of the picture posted up top.

I liked the show. But that's because I'm 18, I was in the front row, my shoe got thrown up on stage, Hagar signed it, and I got to participate in singing "Panama."

Hagar carried it, without question, though.

In terms of the review from the chronicle, I agree with their oppinion of Eddie and Mike...

it wasn't the best performance i've ever seen, but Van Halen rocks...it was awesome. Party on.

Sorry Son, but you NEED to CHECK OUT the Origianl band. Van Hagar is indeed "SECOND BEST" when compared to the MIGHTY VAN HALEN. Hell, more like 150th best. NO WHERE near as good as with DAVID LEE ROTH. "Its first incarnation, as a beach-house garage band, is sorely missed and destined never to return, but a not-quite-sell-out crowd was prepared to make due with second best.

Unfortunately, they got a lot worse than that."

                      AMEN BROTHER!!!!!

sam is still passing the mic around for the Dave tunes. I thought he's ok with singing them now? It's a good thing actually, I'd rather hear a fan sing the Dave songs anyway.
