Learning to see - while not a bad tune - would be a good tune if Def Leppard did it {my wife thought thats who it was at first} and Up for Breakfast....................... uh..............yeah......

I think Dave is best out there in his own wide world. Just wish he could get some decent promotion..........

I was at the OPENING NIGHT of the KISS reunion tour in 1996, in Detroit at TIGER STADIUM. KISS only played songs from thier CLASSIC era (1973-1978). The NEWEST song of the night was "New York Groove" by ACE FREHELY. It was a TOTAL sellout and it felt like seeing THE BEATLES!!!
That's what I want out of a VAN HALEN REUNION. Screw any new CRAP EVH wants to peddle, JUST PLAY THE FUCKING STELLAR DAVE CATALOG!!!!!! IT WILL BLOW PEOPLE'S FUCKING MINDS!!!

I don't know what they would produce if David Lee Roth was again at the helm of what was once the mightiest rock band in America. But I would love to find out.

We have to ask ourselves if it would be worth finding out they totally sucked together these days. I have searced my soul. To me it would. I saw EVH this tour, and despite all the reviews that speak to the contrary, I loved seeing the guy. I would be the same about David and seeing Classic Van Halen again, times 12. But millions of Americans would not be; and a mediocre performance would detract from the legacy Classic Van Halen left us back in 1984. IMO that stands in the way of a real reunion more than egos, lawyers, money or anything else that has been thrown out there as a reason.
