Bad News Regarding the Reunion

David Lee Roth is finally setting up some tour dates. HURRAY! But I just want to interject some reality into the rumors of a "real reunion" that have been trying to resurface here.

Van Hagar is supposed to be finishing up their tour beginning of October....Davids tour is starting in November.

Is this Dave's way of telling his fans to quit dreaming about seeing the original four together again?

Boys and Girls, this does not look good for a Classic Van Halen reunion.

I don't really expect a reunion. I will just let it happen. And if it doesn't, I'll always have the six-pack, ZERO, 77 DEMOS and the bootleg DVDs.

I agree that it is a good thing that he is staying busy and keeping his own reputation alive. I would think it was a better thing if he was coming to Kansas instead of Canada! (and yes, I am just jealous)

I think it would have been better for him to be busy pleasing his fans and giving us something to talk about besides This hagar tour all summer. Then he would already be "warmed up" and ready to go.

Lets put it this way...I'm not holding my breath waiting for a reunion. DAVE solo is very cool and I will enjoy his music and his performances. The SISTERS ARE DEAD TO ME. After 1996 I couldn't care LESS what they're doing. It's more comedic than ANYTHING else.
I'd love to see a reunion tour, but it's not something I continue to obsess about. DAVE has my TOTAL support. I can't WAIT to see HIM in DETROIT as soon as possible.

I doubt he'd come to Green Bay, WI, at the Oneida Casino where I saw him last summer, but I hope comes within at least a couple of hours driving so I can actually see him on this tour. That concert changed my life.

It was only going to be a once a month volunteer at the most, it's just something he wanted to learn, not a new career.
