I must agree, Fab, you were lucky to see the Vegas shows with full arenas. I saw one that was 60% empty....very sad for the band... although I had a good time. As for the cd, the numbers I have seen posted here do not reflect that folks are buyin it.

I think Van Hagar fans think if they keep saying it, it will be true.

It won't, but to each his own.

I wonder how many of the Vegas tix were comps.

I can see them trying different countries and using the argument that sales are only slow in the US Mr. Australian promoter, can we have our 750k now?

This "scorched earth" touring is only painting them into a corner with only three ways out. Retire, play clubs and small arenas, or get Roth back. Future tours with Sammy would involve extensive dates on the House of Blues circuit, at least in the US..5,000 seaters next time around, 100k advances MAX.

exactly! The tour still is listed as ending on Oct 2. I just dont understand why they would want to do anything other than a tour with Dave. They are all 50 now, isnt it time for the " SECOND CHILDHOOD"?

time for retirement although i really would love the more intimate setting of a club tour. i saw the stone when they did the club/arena/stadium and it was amazing seeing them so close

Knowing and believing are two very different things.

one version means lounging around etc.

the other means the dangling of an object.

and it was just a goof...

Simple economics in the music biz clearly indicate this tour is far from failing nor losing money... if the promoters were losing money they wouldn't be adding more dates. If it were a cash drain these promoters would be dropping shows and cutting thier losses faster than NY Ho can drop her drawers...
