VH.com - Further proof of a conspiracy
If you go to www.van-halen.com you'll see further proof that the brothers are working hard at erasing Dave from VH history. Although you'll see Dave on some videos, you won't see his photo, info or anything. I will write a book or make a website about this someday because it is the most ridiculous thing on eart. It's like Paul & George trying to erase John from the history of the Beatles.

I think the VH website is focused more on now with the current reunion/farewell tour instead of yesteryear so there's NO conspiracy. I have my memories of those days when those first six classic rock albums were released & they were the kings of rock with few equals. Seeing Van Halen live at the old Charlotte Coliseum in NC on 2/1/84 during my youth which I never forget while a bootleg of this kick ass rock & roll show is only half the story.Comment

I hate Van Halen. I can't believe it, but I hate them. They are probably the biggest example I can remember of a band trashing its own legacy and erasing its own greatness. I wish they just broke up or Eddie died in 1985 or something like that...at least that way, the band wouldn't have been remembered as this giant joke.

There IS an concerted effort on the part of those in charge of the "offcial" site to bury DAVE, or at the least, keep him OUT/OFF of peoples minds while the SHAM HALEN 2004 tour is under way. I believe it was caused by TOO MANY PEOPLE looking at CLASSIC VAN HALEN pics ijn the past at the site!!!

Ed and Al can, by turns, try and ignore what they did with Roth or put the guy down (depending on what interview you read), but the classic output will never be forgotten.
It looms over everything that came after it, and the legend gets bigger every year.
The Halens' resistance is futile. May as well reunite with Roth at this point, because they got nothing to lose anymore.
Rikk hit the nail head on. It's fucking disgraceful what happened to Halen after Roth left in 1985. But even all that pussy power ballad music and the shit that comes outta Ed and Al's mouths can't tarnish the 6 pack years. hat they created with Roth is gonna live on much longer than the sisters efforts to erase it from memory.Scramby eggs and bacon.Comment
