If the current band is not a cover band where is their album of original material at? How much of their own material do they play? Who wrote the music the band plays 99% of live in concert?

Sure Dave is playing material he wrote/co wrote but the members of his band havent recorded a NOTE of single material for him. They rely HEAVILY on his van halen material and play a handful of solo DLR tunes in concert. Hence i call them a coverband.

If they recorded an album of ORIGINAL material, toured behind it and actually played a majority of it in concert I'd take them more seriously as artists.

Dave wrote the lyrics, Ed wrote the music, mostly.

Attacking Dave? I'm sorry i question his intentions and how he excutes ideas (or lack of execution sometimes).Im the type of person that questions things and find how HOW and WHY they are the way they are.

Sam is one of the last things on my mind and obviously 2nd or 3rd (probably in the order of Dave/pussy/sam)in yours.

As ive said multiple times im a DAVE fan of both his solo career and what he did for/in VH.But I believe he should be much bigger than he is RIGHT now and needs to get some better PR people and probably some better management. (his website and some of his questionable gigs are perfect examples)

I KNOW many of you people have to agree with what im saying here. Dave could have used the buzz (and it was a GOOD buzz) from the Boston Pops gig to his advantage by speaking about some of his upcoming plans but he failed to do anything. All we heard about was volunteer EMT thing and a gig about a Casino.

DLR shouldnt be playing at any fucking casinos.
